Participation data notice

What we collect

Your name or channel, email, participation path, a public work link, preferred language, and organization/proposal when provided. We record submission time, notice version, review state and optional launch-update consent. We do not request platform passwords or confidential files.

Why we use it

To review and follow up on the application, record choices and prevent abuse. Applying grants no publishing license, creates no public account and does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated marketing.

Launch updates are separate

You can apply without choosing launch updates. Optional consent is stored separately with its time and version. You may withdraw that choice by email without withdrawing the application.

Access and service providers

This implementation is designed for Cloudflare Pages, Turnstile and the project’s configured D1 database. Access is limited to authorized reviewers. Work links are not automatically fetched or imported. Storage location and operating parties must be confirmed before collection is enabled.

Retention and deletion

Applications are kept while needed for review and follow-up and reviewed when closed or no longer needed. Ownership verification precedes correction, deletion or withdrawal of update consent. Contact [email protected]. A fixed retention period is not asserted before an appropriate operating policy is approved.

Security and preview limits

The application intentionally stores a hashed abuse-limiting key rather than raw network addresses and prunes old throttle records. Local preview forms do not transmit or save information. Public collection requires an approved notice, configured protection and database testing.

Before public activation

This is an implementation draft of a purpose-specific notice. Collection remains disabled until controller identity, processing location, retention, consent and applicable requirements have been reviewed and approved. This is not a claim of legal compliance.
